Huw Brentnall is an actor, writer, and director.

Trained at the Met Film School in Ealing, Huw gained his Masters Degree in Directing for Film after studying Media, Communications, and Culture at Keele University, and has since gone on to work as an actor, writer, director, and producer.

 

Huw's stage writing debut came with the play 'Quiz' that enjoyed a sell out run at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe, described as "Exquisite Mayhem" and "The right mix of dark and hilarious" by reviwers. Huw also writes for screen, having penned the short film 'Harry Metcalfe: Big Gay Mess' which is set to be released later this year.

 

Huw’s acting credits include appearing in a recent run of the new play 'A Calling' at the ETC Theatre, Camden and he will be appearing as Horatio in Hamlet and Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing at the 2019 Cambridge Shakespeare Festival.
